How It Works

Step 1 — Fill in Quote Details. Enter your name, client details, project title, hourly rate, and any applicable tax or discount.
Step 2 — Add Phases and Tasks. Organize your project into phases (e.g. Discovery, Design, Development). Within each phase, list individual tasks with a name, brief description, and estimated hours. Override the rate per task if needed.
Step 3 — Preview and Export. Click "Preview Quote" to see the rendered document. Then "Export PDF" opens your browser's print dialog; select "Save as PDF" to download.

Tips for Accurate Estimates

  • Break large phases into small, concrete tasks — 2 to 8 hours each
  • Add a 15-25% buffer phase for revisions and unexpected changes
  • Separate discovery / scoping from delivery phases
  • List assumptions and exclusions in the Notes section
  • Specify a validity date to create urgency and protect against scope creep
